TOWNHOUSE

For this project the client envisioned a warm, inviting and relaxed interior for his new home. He had spent two years renovating and breathing new life into the soul of this Grade II listed Georgian property in Clifton, Bristol. With a blank canvas as a starting point, the brief was to create an eclectic and timeless interior with warmth and comfort – with an added touch of luxury that wasn’t not overly designed; relaxed, homely and pleasing on the eye. With the clients work, life and recreational interests ranging from sailing, racing cars and music, it was important to reference these in a subtle way that wouldn’t appear too masculine, keeping the focus on good design, quality and attention to detail.

“We set goals, agreed budgets, discussed ideas and themes. It was easy, it felt natural and we quickly began to make progress. I felt safe in the knowledge I was working with someone professional and organised, yet passionate and enthusiastic. Luca shared my excitement for the project and made the design process fun and enjoyable right from the start.

Always strong with her approach, Luca guided the project with effortless inspiration whilst being sensitive to my brief and respectful of my opinions. Always on hand to advise and lead, but equally willing to listen and discuss every detail along the way.

I realised that design is as much about the journey as it is the result. The journey with Luca was fun and relaxed, nurturing life from a few seeds of imagination. The result is a beautiful home better than I ever imagined.” Greg Monks
